KGL PARTICIPATION IN THE POLISH PLASTIC PACT

Since September 2020, KGL has been participating in the Polish Plastic Pact, allowing it to be even more actively engaged in changing the current model of plastic usage in Poland towards a circular economy. By becoming a Pact Member, KGL has undertaken joint actions with other companies, organizations, and the scientific community involved in the platform, aiming to achieve the set goals by 2025. The tasks are based on the model of three key directions advocated by experts: reducing the use of primary resources in favor of recycled ones - innovation - building a closed-loop system. Identification and elimination of excessive and problematic plastic packaging through redesign, innovation, and alternative delivery models. |

Efficiently support the collection and recycling system of packaging to achieve a recycling rate of at least 55% in the Polish market. |
Increase the proportion of secondary raw materials in plastic packaging up to 25%. |
Enhance the quality and effectiveness of consumer education on segregation, recycling, reuse, and reduction of packaging consumption. |
